2. Service Description HOP IN is a digital service for hobbies and leisure activities available in a mobile application. Users include hobbyists, cities and municipalities, as well as service providers. The service is intended for all entities that want to showcase their expertise on a digital platform. The mobile application includes all the necessary services that both the provider and the hobbyist need to operate. The service operates around the clock and is available in both Finnish and English.

In the HOP IN service, anyone can browse and view hobbies and events in the area. When you want to register for an activity, a hobbyist account is created in the service. Through the account, you manage your own registrations and those you are responsible for. With the hobbyist account, you stay connected to the activity by managing information, registrations, payments, and communication with the provider. The information is always up-to-date and reliable.

HOP IN is a platform that compiles local hobbies and events, allowing hobbyists to find activities for their leisure time with a new hobby. Financial transactions between hobbyists and providers are handled through mobile payments. Providers publish hobbies and events on the platform, which hobbyists can register for. It is possible to manage one-time registrations or commitments for a fixed period. With HOP IN, the service provider can manage existing groups and events, seasonal and activity fees, and memberships.
